Is cooking a science? Yes of course! During the October FAMILY WORKSHOPS, we will enter the world of an extremely important element of the cuisine – spices!
In Spices of the world we will check what substance causes the feeling of spiciness in the product and we will learn the scale of spicy food from the scientific point of view. We will also look at the history of spices, and learn about many of them thanks to folk beliefs.
If you and your family love learning and having fun, you will surely be interested in our loyalty program. During the September workshops, participants will receive special cards for collecting stamps with Mr. Kulka. For taking part in all three FAMILY WORKSHOPS (September, October and November), i.e. collecting all the stamps, you will be able to visit our exhibitions free of charge with an educator who will talk about the stands and present scientific curiosities!
FAMILY WORKSHOPS, like all activities at the EXPERYMENT Science Centre, take place in safe conditions. The number of participants in the classes was adapted to the space. For the convenience of our guests, FAMILY WORKSHOPS will be held simultaneously in two rooms, and their course will be supervised by educators. Rooms and equipment are properly cleaned after each class. All workshop participants will be equipped with disposable protective gloves. Both CNE staff and visitors must also cover their nose and mouth.
