Experyment
Experyment Science Centre features an interactive exhibition that provides space for creative experimentation. This is where the fascination with science is born. Everyone is welcome to visit and embark on a journey to discover and explore the world.
Our science shows, workshops and events engage, teach and entertain. Ask us questions, the more the better. We enjoy science!

OPERATION HUMAN
Each of us is an intricately constructed biological machine – from the smallest cell to complex organ systems. At the exhibition, without having to use a scalpel, you will have the opportunity to see what is hidden in your rich interior. Are you ready for a journey deep into your body?
This part of the exhibition is devoted to the fascinating structure and functioning of the human body. Like a complicated machine, our organisms live thanks to the smooth cooperation between many organ systems. But how does it work exactly? Take a look inside and learn how we reproduce, how our body changes with age, how much water it contains, how long we digest meat, what senses we have and whether we can trust them. Dismantle our organs and carry out a bloodless surgery.
Do you think we can hear a whisper from a distance of a few meters or rest comfortably on a bed of nails? On the one hand, OPERATION HUMAN celebrates the abilities of our body. On the other hand, it stresses its limitations. Use a special track to see how important it is to design the public space accessible to everyone. Is there a more complicated mechanism than the human body?

TREE OF LIFE
We are part of the natural environment, an element of nature with which we interact constantly. We study, observe, imitate, and sometimes try to tame it. It seems that we know her well and there are no secrets for us, but are you sure?
This section of the exhibition explores the fascinating secrets of nature researched by botany, animal anatomy, palaeontology and geology. How are mountains formed? What lies inside a glacier? What a swamp feels like underfoot? All of that you can find out at the Tree of Life. The extraordinary world of animals inspires us to look for unusual solutions in many fields of science. Did you know that some organisms have other senses than those possessed by humans? Or that animals have developed numerous camouflage methods? Check out how horses, dogs and bees see the world or how fish and bats move around.
In the very middle of this section towers… the TREE OF LIFE – a stand in the form of a viewing terrace. Take a look around to experience a real earthquake, race animals slow and fast, step into the shoes of a palaeontologist or discover evolutionary kinship between all kinds of animals on the Spiral of Life. The natural world never ceases to amaze – go have a look!

INVISIBLE FORCES
Physics is the science of nature in the broadest sense. Explains the basic relationships and properties that govern the world. Without it, we would not be able to understood many issues in chemistry, astronomy, meteorology or biology. Is it ubiquitous, but is it well known?
For a better understanding of physics, don’t limit yourself to studying formulas and charts. Once you grasp the basic laws, it’s easy to accept that water can freeze at room temperature, a gyroscope spins your body around and ferrofluid shift-shapes into a hedgehog. Allow us to present you with the why and how of dynamics, thermodynamics, electricity and vibrations. Discover the nature of sound, or even bite it, check how the high-voltage line works, see what happens in a vacuum, and find out why computers use binary code.
Use your muscles to learn how the lever and the hydraulic crane work or measure the impact force of your body. Can you lift a car with one hand? No problem if you crack the relevant laws of physics and apply them! Let’s check out the INVISIBLE FORCES together!

TOWARDS HEALTH
Health is a state of well-being of our body, mind and spirit. It is good physical, mental and emotional condition. Living in harmony, feeling good bouth our choices and habits in everyday life, as well as knowing how not to risk diseases – is a recipe for sustained good health. How to do it?
There are four thematic zones: Lifestyle, Prevention, Emotions and First Aid. How to maintain good health and well-being? Look no further. Measuring equipment, rescue device simulators, applications that simulate behaviour in extreme situations, models for creating a healthy menu – these are only some of the tools that will allow you to answer the question. Some exhibits require various types of interaction and effort. You can check your physical and intellectual fitness and reaction time, learn how to use AED or perform the CPR procedure.
Learn about the importance of your daily choices, such as physical activity, diet and self-examination. How does alcohol affect driving, and what does cigarette smoke have to do with your fitness? Here you can experience what you’ve read in textbooks. There are many interesting aspects of good health. How do we perceive ourselves and our bodies? How do our emotions influence our relationships with others? If you like physical exercise, check your reflex. If you’re competitive, test the strength of your mind and the limits to your memory. Go the right way – TOWARDS HEALTH!

HYDROWORLD
The exhibition shows water from many different perspectives. Although it seems common, it is really an amazing substance with interesting properties. It is the foundation of our life and at the same time an element that humans have always tried to harness. Shall we immerse ourselves in knowledge?
We keep rediscovering the water element and learning how to best harness its potential with electricity-generating river, waves, tides and sea currents. HYDROWORLD demonstrates how pumped-storage power plants accumulate energy and how flow-through power plants obtain it from dammed waters.
The exhibits in this part of Experyment show many interesting properties of liquids. They explain the functioning of ground-breaking inventions, such as the Archimedes’ screw or the Heron’s fountain. Create a water whirlpool, and you’ll know why the water in a sink drain spirals to the right. Does it work the same way on the equator? Build dams and test hydro-technical solutions. Since we are in Gdynia, don’t forget to try our port simulator. Navigate, moor and unload ships with perfect timing. The clock is ticking and still more units are queuing! HYDROWORLD invites you to roll up your sleeves and dive into the wet part of Experyment!
